David Hockney

David Hockney worked more with photocollage then actual photography, although his work did very much include the medium. He focused mainly on landscapes and portraits. Many collages because of the time delay between the pictures being taken, looked very much like cubism, which David had always had a great affinity for.
He later developed his passion for cubism in paintings, his works were also greatly influenced by Pablo Picasso.
David was born in 1937, and most of his art was based out of L.A, Californina in the USA. Many considered him a large contributor to British pop art in the 60's.

Jerry Uelsmann

Jerry Uelsmann was born in June of 1934, and has become well know due to his extensive work in the darkroom.
Making a name for himself by creating un-realistic layered images that have never failed to surprise people.
Although when I began making these muili-layered images, photoshop and other such photo editing softwares were not around. This gave him the reputation of having some magical skills. (Although I am indeed sure he did have them to work elargers in such a way)
He taught at the University of Florida, and now is retired with his lovely wife in Gainesville.

Assignment Number Two

Edward Weston did not always photograph the 'familiar', he started out taking portraits opening his first studio in 1910. He however moved on to nudes and within this realm explored seashells, plants, vegetables, and some landscapes. He was known for his very crisp and clear images, using a very small aperture as to allow the maximum amount of depth of field to come though in his pictures. This means that the foreground and the background of his pictures were always both in focus. This allows the eye to be carried all around the photograph, still able to see every part of the photograph in great detail.

Lee Friedlander started his career in New York City by photographing what one could call the social landscape, in small. He photographed what was around him, in his day to day life. After much due appreciation and acceptance of his photos, he became less mobile and finally completely housebound because of a knee replacement surgery and arthritis pains. This lead to his photographs becoming very personal pictures of simply every day objects laying around his house. This did not make them one bit less interesting though.

I can fit 205 high res and 49 RAW

JEPG files are stored on my camera

9-Do you have a camera manual? Have you read it?
I have read most of my manual, although not front to back.
